I can write stories. I know someone named Lynn Harris, she writes for magazines and she is constantly hustling her pieces and sending emails out to her email list, which I am on via a friend, looking for first hand accounts to support her pieces. I could do something like that, but it is full time work in and of itself and I need to be able to support myself while I am doing it. Hopefully I will pass my test and I can have a life outside of work and work on my book. I think my book might attract a few readers, its about prosperity and abundance. I think I am going to use myself as a case study and show how I went from being broke to being solvent and how I used positive thinking to do it. That's why I like Balboa press, Hay HOuse has tons of books on manifestation and the law of attraction, yes the secret type stuff, but it works for me. I've thought about it. It would mean selling my house and I'm not really ready to do that. But I can't pay the taxes this year so I may have no choice. My friend really wants me to move to LA. I would, but I don't want to leave my pets. Whereever I go, they would have to come with. And I don't relish having a landlord again. Yes, I am probably going to need to go to a food bank this paycheck period because I only made enough to cover my bills and I am taking money away from bills to pay for gas. Even with working I still have to do all of those things. I don't need anymore clothes, thankfully, and I do get netflix but I'm cancelling it. I go to the library all of the time for movies. Its a good idea, though, thanks for thinking of me. THe food bank only lets you go a couple of times a year. They frown on you using them on a regular basis. Oh, its my pleasure. Thank you for thanking me. I really love the residents even if I don't love the work. I don't know anything else I can do but take this path. I need money yesterday. I can't try to make it work as a writer and starve in the mean time, I've spent my whole life trying that and it hasn't worked. All of my twenties and a good portion of my thirties I tried to be an actress and a writer and I never got anywhere and if my mom hadn't have helped me, I would have been on the street. 09/4, 10:02:34

Many times in places like nursing homes they are forgotten and disgarded so again thank you for your compassion. Whatever you choose to do make the choice for yourself not for others. I wish it were that simple. I would work on my book if I could do anything I wanted. But I am drowning in debt and I can't see any way to get paid to write right now. I am probably going to self publish my book with Balboa press, a divison of Hay House, my favorite spiritual book company. THey charge a few thousand and they promote it and put it on Amazon. Right now that looks like my best bet. Then if the book is successful, I own it so I make all of the money and plus a publisher or agent will think more of a writer who has already put something out, even if it is self published. At least you ahve something to show for it. SO that is what I am thinking about and I need to pay bills in the mean time so this is all I can see to do. I actually hope I work in the dementia unit tonight. I feel like they really need the help, the poor things. They are so sad, they wander around the unit not knowing what to do. You have to go round them up to get them dressed for bed and by that time they are so exhausted from circling around and around the unit that they are grateful for someone to give them some direction and put them to sleep. No, I am just facing a cutback because they want me to pass my test. They are tired of training me. When I work as a nurse I have to be watched by an RN at all times so they have to pay two people, me and the RN to work, so its not worth it to them. THey said 'enough is enough' and that I have trained long enough so now they mostly use me as a CNA. Which sucks because its back breaking work. I have to work as a CNA. I have to do a group, which means getting about seven people ready for bed. Its tough work. I really don't relish it. But I have to eat.
